4th May- Below are some links to a music activity. We are also looking at cooking this week. Can you make a fruit crumble? What other VE recipes can you find and make?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zb9djhv

27th April- Here are a variety of Dinosaur themed activities. They are the same as what the children of key workers will be covering in school this week. I can't wait to see what you have done on tapestry.

Here is a link for a dinosaur themed yoga session its lots of fun and can help wake you up in the morning! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnlDBKD2S78

Go on a virtual tour of the Natural History Museum https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/how-to-draw-a-dinosaur.html

Make an icy dinosaur egg. Put a dinosaur (or other toy) inside a balloon fill it with water and then freeze it. The next day you can play with your frozen egg and experiment with ways to make it melt.

Make your own dinosaur footprint biscuits. https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/dinosaur-footprint-cookies-recipe.html

Design your own dinosaur! What makes your dinosaur special? Does it have wings or spikes? Is it glittery?

20th April- There are a few challenges I am setting this week see if you can complete them all. There is also the pictures at the bottom of the page and the EYFS pack with many helpful ideas.

Get yourself dressed without any help from mummy or daddy. What was easy/difficult?

Help mummy or daddy to cook a meal.  How could you help? Can you grate some cheese?

Design and make your own pirate ship. Can you label the picture? What are you going to make it from? (Lego, cardboard, plastic bottles)

Make your very own parrot (see picture below)

Make a treasure map you can use teabags to make it look old.

Hide a toy in your house can mummy or daddy find it? Now let them hide the toy. Can you find it?

There is work set on purple mash please complete this. I can see who has completed the work and it is lovely to be able to communicate with the children. If you do not have the login for it please email me and I will get it to you.

Why not try some Yoga in the morning to start your day. Below is a links for the Frozen Yoga but they have dinosaur, trolls, star wars, Moana and many more to try.

30th March- This week we are looking at Cinderella. I have set two design tasks on purplemash one for a carriage one for a dress. Can you act out parts of the story at home? You could use your toys to represent some of the characters. Then see if you can build a castle with a box, blocks or anything you can find at home. If you want to design the dress/castle with materials around the house have a go and upload it to tapestry or email me. I can not wait to see what you make.

I will be putting links for games and other ideas to do at home while school is closed.
