¡Hola! The National Oak Academy have produced a series of Spanish lessons for KS2 children. They are well presented and fun. If you would like some extra Spanish to do at home, I would highly recommend these lessons.

Start from the beginning, even if you are in year 6 and have studied Spanish for several years. It'll be good revision and there is always something new to learn with languages

There are 5 lessons within each topic.

COVER LESSONS: Each lesson is no more than 20 minutes, so easy to fit in! Choose a story and/ or a song from the main MFL page to match your lesson

Remember, the more practice you do the better you will become in Spanish!

Topic 1 Así soy yo 1 introducing and describing yourself in Spanish 2 Saying your age 3 months of the year in Spanish 4 Saying the month of your birthday 5 Saying your name, age and birthday

Topic 4 Me visto (talking about clothes) 1 naming items of clothes 2 Describing clothes using colours 3 Describing clothes with colours, sizes and styles 4 to be published

Topic 5 Describo un monstruo (This topic is particularly relevant to year 5) 1 describing someone else's size and colour 2 Naming parts of the head and face 3 Describing parts of the head and face with sizes and colours 4 Describing a monster's head and face and joining descriptions with conjunctions 5 Making monster descriptions better using intensifiers
