  • Incident in The Avenue 29 November 2018

    Thu 29 Nov 2018

Parents were made aware, earlier this week, that Mr Moffat would be absent today and that there would not be a crossing patrol either at the start or the end of the school day. With that in mind, you were also asked to remember to take care in crossing the road and to park considerately.Yet again, I am writing to you as a result of another incident which occurred this morning. We have been contacted by a member of our community who has video evidence of a confrontation between some of our parents and the warden of Crofton Court after she reminded them not to park on the pavements.

The warden was then verbally abused and intimated by this group, in front of several of our children. This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and the footage and registration plate of the car involved will be passed to the police.

  • Christmas Dinner Friday 21st December 2018

    Mon 12 Nov 2018

The children will be having Christmas dinner in school on Friday 21st December.

We will order Roast Turkey and Festive Chocolate Mousse for all children who have a hot meal in KS1.  Please tell your teacher, by Friday 23rd November, if you would prefer the vegetarian option.

KS2 children can order the Christmas dinner for £2.40.  Please send your money into the school office in an envelope, clearly marked with your child's name, class and menu choice, by Friday 23rd November.

  • Parking

    Tue 06 Nov 2018

Today a neighbour of our school was hit on the arm by the wing mirror of a car mounting the curb whilst following their child after dropping them off.

Parking is an ongoing issue and I appreciate that the rain makes dropping off your child even harder but this behaviour is not acceptable.  I have the number plate of the car that hit our neighbour and I am reporting it to the police as this could have easily been a child.

Please ensure you are parking and driving responsibly as some of you are putting lives at risk.
